This video is all about water fasting and how it can be so beneficial to your health and wellness.

This is a special episode because I'm going to reveal to you my personal three-day water fasting protocol that I do several times per year.

Water fasting delivers profound benefits, from activating your immune system and stem cells to getting rid of cellular garbage, and so much more.

Now, if you know anything about the Fit Father Project, you know that intermittent fasting is a regular recommendation.

A 24-hour fast is great because it's something you can do every single week. You have dinner one day, then just drink water, coffee, and/or green tea until dinner the next day.

You can get even more benefits the longer you fast, but that’s not always easy to do!

So, I feel that a three-day fast is a sweet spot between getting maximum benefits without it being a super long and difficult fast.

I know what you’re thinking: a three-day water fast sounds crazy.

But, people water fast for 7, 10 days, and there’s even a case study of a man who water fasted for an entire year!

The point is, the body can survive water fasting, and for most people, it’s not detrimental to their health.

So, yes, fasting is appropriate for people who want to lose weight or improve their health.

However, it is not safe for people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of any kind of eating disorder.

Also, people who are on medication to manage diabetes or blood sugar, or if they need to take certain medications with food, should not fast.

      Excellent video Dr. A. πŸ‘ŒπŸ½πŸ‘ŒπŸ½πŸ‘ŒπŸ½
Thank you so much for making this video, you’ve really got me fired up, to the point where I am considering trying it this weekend as I have done a few 24 hour water fasts this year successfully. My one question would be regarding taking medications & supplements specifically BP medication & then vitamin D, omega 3 fish oil capsules & magnesium?
      Thanks again my friend.πŸ™πŸ½

3 Day I don’t know I will give it a go thank you

Thanks for the great info! This was very encouraging and informative. I started my first 3-day fast 4 days ago. Up until day 3, no hunger, moderate energy, and felt good enough to walk a couple miles. I used a commercial electrolyte water, green tea, and one cup of coffee each morning (because I cannot survive without coffee). A week before the fast I cut my carbs majorly (I practice modified Keto for life!) so I’d have fewer carbs to burn through. Then, with just 8 hrs to go (hour 64), I became so extremely shaky, dizzy, and weak that I decided to break the fast with bone broth and IMMEDIATELY recovered. I had plain Greek yogurt and a dill pickle an hour later. At first, I felt like a total failure, but soon realized I’d accomplished something significant. I’m thinking I might not have hydrated enough. Anyway, I will try again next month and hope to complete the fast. I suppose there were still great benefits. You’ve given me the incentive to try again when I was just thinking extended fasting might not be for me!

      Dr. A,
I just bought the Beammineral product from the podcast recommendation. I know the product says it doesn’t break your fast, but I’m still thinking maybe just water is best. What do you suggest? Thanks!

I fast daily from 6pm till 12pm the next day, never tried a 3-Day Fast πŸ€”
