Do you spray against ticks on that path?

      • Lose Fat Get Jacked

My dog takes a monthly flea and tick medication, but I don’t protect myself. I do however thoroughly check myself over after our walks. The ticks were REALLY bad in the spring. I found two on me early in the season, but nothing since.

“that” day you decide to make that change of lifestyle is both cruel on yourself (“look at the sate of me!!!!!!”) and the best (the beginning of a new you). My eureka moment was the day I saw a picture of myself sitting on a beach with my son in my arms and…fat around my midsection. Yes it made me cringe and feel ashamed of myself but it was the wake up call I needed, and I have never looked back since.
I totally agree with the need to reconnect with nature (something 90% of the population seem to have lost sight of) so here’s a tip: whenever possible walk BAREFOOT on grass, sand or trail, ANYWHERE natural (again, if doable), it feels amazing imo.
Have a look at the young lads at StengthtSide youtube channel, they have a second channel called The Primal Projects, I love what they do, their outlook on life and what they are all about, pretty similar to yours and mine. 🙂
      Have a great day !

Thanks a million for the channel suggestions and for sharing the moment you decided to make a change in your lifestyle. I appreciate sharing this journey with you.

another sensational vid! as always you look sick! love your insights in this vid and “a day in the life” vibe…QUESTION…
So you never practice fasting ? you just wait an hour or so after your morning walk? and just eat normally as per all your vids??
and do you still track calories etc? I get the feeling you are so dialed in after years of trial and error…thanks again

Thanks a million once again for your positive feedback, shared experiences, and insights. I’ve practiced fasting many times in the past. It doesn’t suit me best. And I used to have my breakfast shake shortly after my walk. Now I prefer to have it before my walk. I rarely track calories any more, because as you said, I’m dialled in. My lifestyle is consistent and structured. Even more important, I’ve developed an incredible sense of awareness and intuitiveness. I still track once in a while, either for a video or to make sure my intuitive skills are still on point.

@Lose Fat Get Jacked im with you…I feel if you are nourishing your body only fast u need is sleep!! time

      • Lose Fat Get Jacked

I tend to feel my best when I stop eating 3-4 hours before bed and then have breakfast after my morning coffee. That’s just me.

      • Lose Fat Get Jacked

Yes. Almost done and will be posting a video on my experience. Can’t say that I have necessarily loved it 😁

      • chris rocco

@Lose Fat Get Jacked u need to try 6 months min. 30 days not enuff

      • Lose Fat Get Jacked

@chris rocco oh man… 30 days felt like too long. After 2 weeks I was thinking why the hell am I doing this to myself. I’d much rather have more energy.

    • Daren Bulley

Love your videos and inspiration. I weighed in this morning at 201.9. From 249 in December, so I am just two pounds from losing 50. I am starting to look like your “before”.
After I get below 200 I think I’m transitioning to what I look like and feel like and I’m planning to stop weighing myself every 12 hours….
I had pretty much completely quit fat loss in May when when I couldn’t get under 235, but I read a book by Ellington Darden called “killing fat” that changed my focus and worked for me. That is shortly before I started watching your videos and your advice and inspiration has been awesome. I still work 40 hours and have three kids at home so I can’t be active all day, but I’m getting better at establishing this way of being. I used to nap Saturday afternoon and now I go walk 6 miles instead….thanks for all your help!

Outstanding share my brother! It’s always amazing how when you don’t feel like moving because you’re tired… and it’s actually movement such as walking that will wake you up and feel alive. It’s definitely a little easier scheduling in my activity now that my kids are young adults, but I’ve always found a way to make it happen and often times included them in the activities, which made it even more fun. Basically just focused on spending less time on my butt. Keep crushing your goals. Learning and growing every step of the way!

    • Emily Hua

Lol you have jack sisters out there too btw!

Thank you for this. Right now I’m still dieting, still have about 15 to 20 lb to lose. I have my system down for weight loss, exercise, getting stronger. It’s been 2 months, and looking at my trends, I’m going to hit goal by New Year’s.

Thanks for the video. I’m thinking beyond. I have my current system wired down and feel comfortable, but I’m wondering what happens afterwards.

I’ve realized that I’ve been experimenting with my body with the weight loss, playing with nutrition, gym Days, cardio, other activities. I’m planning for the future, but when it comes, I guess I’m just going to keep experimenting, just different goals. I decided after watching your video I’m going to try to keep them mentality for at least a year. Not saying that I’m going to stop afterwards, but saying that said that I don’t hit my goal and stay good for two three months and then lose it. It’s just going to be a different experiment!

      • Lose Fat Get Jacked

Right on my jacked sister!!! Thank you so much for sharing your goals and some insights into your journey. The only thing that changes for me when shifting from fat loss to maintenance to muscle building, is the portion size of the meals I eat. I workout the same and I get out there living life to the fullest with activities that I enjoy. All the while paying close attention to how I’m feeling and if there are areas I could make small improvements to, which would allow me to thrive even more and feel more alive than ever. Keep up the great work!

      • Emily Hua

@Lose Fat Get Jacked Perhaps a video talking more about how the transition looked like? were you more methodical and increased calories? did you just try to let go and eat cleaner? any trials and errors in switching to maintenence? just an idea/request =)

      • Lose Fat Get Jacked

@Emily Hua I LOVE IT! Thank you so much for the suggestion. I do have a video that I recorded with a coaching client and how I took him through the process https://youtu.be/iptxiEe4NRY It’s a longer video, so I’ll record a new one that’s more condensed and post it this upcoming Tuesday.

    • Wealth is Health

Love how you reframed cardio/”burning calories” with an activity that makes you feels good. Something that you are genuinely looking forward to do. An adventure. A part of your day that will improve your mood. Exploring nature. Being present. That reframe is huge. Thanks for the video man! Lots of wisdom here

      • Lose Fat Get Jacked

Thanks a million for highlighting this very important message that I’ve been doing my best to really get across to others. Too many people are doing things they feel they HAVE to do, when they should be focused on doing things they LOVE to do and add value to their lives. Allowing them to thrive and feel alive! I appreciate you brother 👊
