If you are a man over 40, don’t lose hope, it is still possible to lose weight. Today, I want to help you lose 30 lbs in 40 months after 40, to help you get in the best shape of your life. Your joints probably have some extra wear and tear on them because of the excess weight you have been carrying, and your body is probably lower in testosterone. Both of these things will hinder your progress if you don’t make the necessary adjustments to account for them. Now, here are the tips on how to lose 30 lbs in 4 months after 40.

Tip #1: CLEAN UP YOUR DIET. Eliminate processed foods, fried foods, and replace that with whole, nutrient dense foods. Make sure you are getting good lean protein sources, good sources of complex carbs, green leafy veggies, and good quality fat sources.

Tip #2: GET A COACH. If you choose the right one, that can make all the difference in the world with your progression and results. Tip #3: DO SOMETHING SUSTAINABLE. You don’t want to get burnt out or injured, especially early on in your fitness journey. You may start strong, but you won’t last long enough to see the results that you want. Stay consistent day by day, and that will help with your success in your weight loss journey.

Tip #4: SLEEP. This needs to be prioritized, it is not something to be taken advantage of. You need 7-9 hours of good quality sleep each night. This is when your body recovers, and produces most of your fat burning hormones.
